Mari-Luz Gonzalez
Architect
Mari-Luz joined Claridge Architects in September 2024. Originally from Spain, she completed her Architecture Degree at the University of Alicante in 2020 and became an ARB-registered Architect in the UK the following year.
Prior to joining Claridge, Mari-Luz spent four years at Harris Irwin Architects, where she specialized in Later Living projects, including Dementia Specialist Care Homes and Retirement Communities. Her work spanned from feasibility to planning stages, successfully delivering projects across the UK. Through designing for the elderly, she gained a deep understanding of the impact isolation and inaccessibility have on wellbeing, and how compassionate, human-centered design can make a positive difference.
Inspired by Arts and Crafts geometries and fine craftsmanships, Mari-Luz enjoys honing her pottery skills in her spare time.
