Mary Bunce

Architectural Assistant

Mary joined Claridge Architects in early 2025 after achieving a First Class Honours in her RIBA part 1 at the University of Portsmouth. Her final major project tackled the pressing issue of rising water levels due to climate change, highlighting her commitment to sustainability and innovative design solutions that address environmental challenges. The design of her master plan was a radical exploration of how letting the water into the city of Portsmouth through a series of canals could positively impact urban living and prevent flooding from rising sea levels.
Mary also has a keen interest in interior design and mixed-use schemes, showcasing her passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys pottery and baking.
